Welcome to the San Gabriel Elementary PTA Kick-A-Thon site.
It's Kick-A-Thon time! San Gabriel has one major fundraiser each year and it's the Kick-A-Thon. Every year, our goal is to raise $25,000 to fund field trips, assemblies,enrichment programs, and all the wonderful activities that PTA supports at San Gabriel. Our school raised over an astounding $30,000 last year so we know we can do it. For the Kick-A-Thon, all students will kick a soccer ball and their speed will be recorded by a radar. Students then take their score and ask family, friends, and neighbors to sponsor them with a tax-deductible donation to San Gabriel PTA. We hope that everyone participates because this fundraiser benefits each and every student at San Gabriel. Also, there are a lot of great prizes and incentives for every student who brings in money.
The Kick-A-Thon runs from March thru April. It all starts with the Kick-Off Assembly scheduled for Tuesday, March 13th. Each class will be assigned a kicking day either on Wednesday April 3rd or Thursday, April 4th. Each student will kick a soccer ball and their speed will be recorded. Students then ask their family, friends, and neighbors to sponsor them with a donation.
The proceeds from the Kick-A-Thon benefits each and every student at San Gabriel Elementary School through field trips, assemblies, reading incentive programs, and a whole lot of other fun activities. We want to encourage every student to participate. Not only will the school benefit, but there are a lot of wonderful incentives and prizes available for the students. So let's all get out there and work together to support our school and education!
